425 g chickpeas (soaked overnight)
4 tbsp tahini
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp salt
4 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
Directions
- Drain and rinse the chickpeas thoroughly under cold water.
- In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, minced garlic, ground cumin, and salt. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
- With the food processor running, gradually add 2-4 tbsp of olive oil until the hummus reaches your desired consistency. Blend until creamy and well combined.
- Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil.
