Ingredients

  • 425 g chickpeas (soaked overnight)

  • 4 tbsp tahini

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 4 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil

Directions

  • Drain and rinse the chickpeas thoroughly under cold water.
  • In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, minced garlic, ground cumin, and salt. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
  • With the food processor running, gradually add 2-4 tbsp of olive oil until the hummus reaches your desired consistency. Blend until creamy and well combined.
  • Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil.

  • Save in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days!
